Groblox has launched its Designer’s Toolkit, a practical, well-considered resource created to help agencies, creative teams, and rights holders bring their designs to life quickly and accurately. Designed in collaboration with those who use it most, the toolkit simplifies the early stages of planning and presenting concepts.
Driving the toolkit is a detailed SketchUp file featuring over 50 configurable components. Users can drag and drop blocks, add balconies, switch out wall options, and explore layouts without starting from scratch. The model is optimised for speed, clean presentation, and easy exporting, with materials and lighting pre-set for V-Ray rendering. It provides a solid base structure, allowing creatives to overlay their own designs, branding, and fit out concepts directly within the model.
“In our experience, designers and producers often need to move fast, especially when developing early concepts,” says Groblox Director, Jayden Grove. “This toolkit is designed to give them a clear head start.”
By putting the tools directly in the hands of industry professionals, Groblox encourages more creatives to engage, experiment, and contribute. The more creatives who design with Groblox, the stronger and more creative the outcomes become.
It’s already being used by agencies and event teams working on projects across sport, entertainment, and brand activations.
Designers can also share their models back with Groblox for feedback, budgeting, or support on integrating unique requirements. Whether it’s adjusting structural layouts or developing new components, the Groblox team is about collaboration.
The Designer’s Toolkit is part of a broader roadmap to support partners with practical tools and time-saving resources. As Groblox innovates and new components get released, Creative’s on the mailing list will receive the latest updates and design resources.
The Designer’s Toolkit is available now for approved partners and collaborators. You can register your interest at www.groblox.au/designers-toolkit.
For those not using SketchUp or other 3D modelling tools, Groblox also offers a 30-minute design sprint, a collaborative online session with the Groblox design team to help bring your concept to life.
