To launch Hard Rated Orange 4.5%, the brand tapped into Australia’s sports-mad culture and love of a good stunt. Former AFL player and media personality Daniel Gorringe was locked in a glass box outside the MCG for 48 hours, right in the heart of the action and banter with every moment streamed live for fans in person and online.
With over 110,000 fans walking past the activation and more than 400,000 tuning in to the branded live-stream, the stunt became a viral talking point and a masterclass in how Brand Activations are done! Dan’s own content pulled in over 15 million views and a million organic likes, cementing the launch as a social media juggernaut.
The structure was built from four Groblox blocks, including a purpose-built block housing a toilet. With all creative design and fitout handled entirely in-house by Groblox.
