At the 2025 Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, the West Gate Tunnel Project engaged the public with a standout activation inside the Innovation Hub at Pit Stop Park. Designed to bring Victoria’s transport future to life, the “More Ways to Move” experience combined immersive tech, clear storytelling and clever spatial design.
Sweet Mango led the engagement strategy, shaping a public experience that made large-scale infrastructure feel personal and relevant. From content to onsite flow, every detail was considered to drive interest and understanding.
Made.Experiences delivered the interior fitout, integrating a driving simulator, VR station and interpretive displays into an intuitive and interactive space. The result was a hands-on environment that sparked genuine curiosity and encouraged deeper exploration.
The structure was built using two Groblox Single Blocks, forming the modular base that enabled the creative vision to take shape. Adaptable and event-ready, the Groblox system allowed for curved architectural forms, full-height glazing and accessible entry, all within a compact footprint.
This activation demonstrated how strong collaboration, and modular design can support clear, accessible storytelling, helping major infrastructure projects connect with the public in a meaningful and approachable way.
