KitKat made its mark at the 2026 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix as the first market to activate the brand’s global F1 partnership, bringing the “Have a Break” message to life in the middle of one of motorsport’s biggest weekends.
The KitKat Fan Zone became a standout destination across the event, with F1-themed chocolate cars, an AI trackside photo generator and interactive challenges drawing fans in and keeping them engaged throughout the weekend.
Led by Platoon MKTG and built out by Alchemy, the activation translated KitKat’s playful brand identity into an experience that felt right at home in the energy of race week.
The fan activation was housed within the Groblox modular system, providing the flexible, open-plan space needed to bring the Fan Zone to life at one of Australia’s biggest sporting events.
